some things that happened this week.
i had a pretty event-filled week this week so i thought i might share it with the world in • form.
• i went to ballarat to look at some sweet photos at the international 'foto biennale'. when i was there i was exposed to a plethora of amazing photographers but none touched me or continued to resonate within me like lauren rabbit's work did. this lady was dealing with chronic bipolar for years before they could medicate her properly. at the beginning of her illness she wandered out of the house to run an errand and ended up in baltimore mental asylum. as a precaution, just until they could get her meds right, she locked her self away in solitary confinement inside her house. it took them three years to get her meds right. during this time she took a photo almost every day. apparently she came to my school to give a talk last week. i'm so disappointed i missed it it makes me want to close myself inside for three yeas.

• a man chomped into his tongue instead of his breaky burrito at work and passed out cause it hurt so bad.
• i bought some sick-tang sunglasses - aren't they pretty?

• i bought a ticket to go see sia in december.
• my PARKLIFE ticket arrived!
• i met this munchkin 7 months ago this week. i think that's pretty cool. (what a messy little man).

• i did a few self portraits for school i'm fairly happy with - this one especially (excuse my testicle).
• i went shopping in stores i could never afford to buy things in. my favourite bit is when they tell you how much it is and you have to try and keep a straight face. for example - these two cardigans. i couldn't decide between the black or the gray. i was um-ing and ar-ing when i asked the store assistant the price - $495. i told her that i had to be really sure before i was going to commit because i wasn't sure if i should stretch the budget this week. THAT IS MY BUDGET FOR A MONTH. ... but aren't they dreamy?

• i ate acid in my friend's backyard with a strange irish man.
• i went to a 1971 wimbledon themed party and ate crustless cucumber sandwiches, strawberries and cream and cupcakes. it was delightful.
• i got a $5000 loan.
• i spent $4672 on new toys for school.
i guess you can say i had a pretty eventful week. in between the times i was doing something i uas usually i eating, sleeping, getting high, going to school or wasting time in some other counter-productive kind of way. thanks for sharing. :)

the julia files #1
this is my friend julia. she's one of the funniest people you'll ever meet. one of the things i love most about her is she has basically no inhibitions, more so after a few drinks, and especially in front of the camera (i once took a photo of her full frontal doing a pee - don't judge, terry richardson does it and people are all crazy about him). anyway, here are some snaps i took one night when she was getting ready to go out. she was trying to be 'arty'. julia has weird shit happen to her all the time so she'll probably make a few appearences on here. i hope you appreciate and love her as much as i do.

to give you a bit more of an idea of julia, the last time she came home after a big night the first/ last hing she croaked before she went to sleep was 'i gave jesus head. it was fuckin' hot.'
