the crying girl.
this is a group assignment i did with chloë and kal for portraiture. we didn't do the best job on the lighting (meant to be low key) but i think the series worked out amazingly. we had heartbreak in the studio and the model let us photograph it.

The styling makes me think WW2. Which makes me think 'griving sweetheart'.
ReplyDeleteYou've done well to get so many blacks in there (if that makes sense?) rather than losing the detail or making it too light and ruining the mood.

black and white works awesomely and helps to emphasise the mood.
speaking of moods, this series made my heat weep...it could be because it immediately made me concerned for Julia.
